What is a Bundle on OpenSea?
OpenSea bundles are two or more items that have been batched together in a single marketplace listing. Whoever buys the bundle will receive all of the items it contains.
Bundles have been around for quite some time on OpenSea.
The feature was first introduced in October 2018 when it was one of the most requested features from its users.
OpenSea bundles allow you to sell a group of items all in one go.
You might be asking yourself why anyone would want to do that?
Well, sometimes it can be easier to bundle together various NFTs and sell them as an entire batch.
The other obvious benefit is that you can list the bundle for free and then settle it in a single transaction.
This can save OpenSea gas fees for everyone.
Please bear in mind that if you’ve listed any of the items separately and they sell, the entire bundle will be delisted once the transaction completes.
This feature is also currently not available on Polygon.
How to Find Bundles on OpenSea
You can search for bundles on OpenSea by filtering the search results to “Bundles” using the dropdown menu at the top of the results. Bundles can easily be identified by the small gallery icon in the bottom left or the blue dots in the bottom right corner of the item.
If you’ve never seen OpenSea bundles before then you’re probably asking yourself how on earth you can find them.
First of all, there’s a very easy way to identify bundles on the OpenSea marketplace.
OpenSea bundles look slightly different from regular single items.
They have 2 key differentiating elements:
- A “gallery” icon in the bottom left corner.
- Two or more blue dots in the bottom right corner.
Hovering your mouse over the gallery icon will display a small tooltip that indicates how many items are in the bundle.
The blue dots on the right work the same way as image sliders that you’ve probably seen on many other websites as well.
You can click on different blue circles to rotate through all the items.
If you want to specifically search only for OpenSea bundles, then all you need to do is switch the dropdown menu at the top of the search results from “Single Items” to “Bundles”.
Once you’ve made this change you can continue searching on OpenSea and the filter will continue to be applied.
How to Sell OpenSea Bundles
Selling OpenSea bundles is a simple 3-step process. Go to your profile and find the items you want to bundle together. Click the 3 little dots in the bottom left corner and select each item. Then click the blue “Sell Bundle” button in the bottom right corner. Finally add a name, description, and price to complete the listing.

How to Order Items in OpenSea Bundles
There is no way to manually adjust the order in which items are displayed in bundles. The only way you can make sure that a specific item is shown first is by creating that item at the very end. The most recently created NFT will usually display first.
A common problem that many people stumble upon once they start working with OpenSea bundles is the order of the items inside the bundle itself.
Many people will arbitrarily batch together various items because they just want to sell multiple items in one go.
However, for other creators, the order in which the items are displayed on OpenSea can be quite important.
Imagine you’re selling a bundle of gaming items and you want the first image to act as a “cover image”.
If you don’t have control over the order of the items, the OpenSea bundles might end up looking very different than what you wanted.
Unfortunately, there is no way to manually adjust the order in which items are sorted in a bundle.
However, what we can say is that the most recently posted or minted items will usually display first.
